Resumo

The infiltrationofwaterisnotable toinfluencethepresenceofwater in the root zone. The workwascarried out in the experimental areaof theStatesUniversity ofMato Grosso do Sul, in themonthofAugust of2012. The objectiveofthisworkwastoevaluatethephysicalattributesofthesoilandtheinfiltrationofwater in thesoil in Eucalyptuswithdifferent agesandnativeforest, appliedtoprecipitationof 60 mm h-1.The treatmentswerecharacterized as: Treatment 1: Eucalyptusarea atthe age of 6 months (AE-6); 2: Eucalyptusarea, aged 1 yearand 10 months (AE-1); Treatment 3: Eucalyptusareawithre-growthconduction (2nd round) with age of 12 yearsand10 months (AE-12); Treatment 4: Nativeforestarea (AMN). For theevaluationof a waterinfiltration on anintensitytestof 60 mm-1, using a portablecomputersimulator. The experimental design waspreparedwithblocksof four treatments and four replicates, making a total of 16 experimental plots. The soilundernativeforesthadvaluesofmacroporosityand total porosityofthesoil superior totheotherareas. The treatmentswitheucalyptuscultivationshowedhighervaluesofsoildensity. The rate ofinfiltrationishigher in thenativeforestwhencomparedtoeucalyptus, atall ages evaluated.
